38 y/o married to my best friend since 9/12/1998; We met in 1992. Married in 1998; I'm a '91 graduate of the Univ. of Houston. Working on Masters degree in French Literature when I met the love of my life! He was in law school. I left my job in 1996 to work w/him when he opened his Law firm. Married in 1998. Working on our "family" diligently & actively since June 2004; 2 miscarriages, one Sept 2004 and another Dec 2004; Break from TTC per doctor's orders in Jan 2005; resumed family planning once all genetic testing was completed. March 2005 BFN; April 2005 BFN! May 2005 BFN! June 2005? Doc had "the" talk with us, if no bfp this cycle, it's on to IVF --test tube baby for us? maybe! Update: July 2005 underwent 1st IVF cycle, with SUCCESS! We conceived two beautiful little boys, born March 30, 2006 via emergency c-section. I am now wallowing in the joys of early motherhood. That is, lack of sleep, fatigue. My compensation? Smiles from the babies in the middle of the night... 11/14/2006: Babies are now 7 1/2 months old and I couldn't be more happy!

32 weeks

HAHA I thought the cruelest joke of my pregnancy was the PUPPPs rash...NOPE, how about a good ol' fashioned 'ROID! (can't bring myself to spell it out LOL)...Ahhh, it takes a good sense of humor to deal with these things! Oh and I almost forgot, nice big fat cankles! Woo Hoo!

Moi: Rash, stretch marks & all....32 weeks

Since my last post I think, I've started insulin shots since the Prednisone had my glucose numbers sky rocketing...

Saw OB today. Babies are both in the head down position *ready for take off!* Doc says is good so we can probably induce labor and not need a c-section! YAYAY! Both HB's are good, 148 and 146 respectively. I get so many remarks when I go out in public, like "When are you due? yesterday?" LOL....Even some that think I look "cute" which baffles me. A huge belly is all of a sudden cute?

LOL....

Babies this week:
Your baby is up to 3.75 pounds (1702gm) now and is 16.7 inches (42.4cm) long.
You might notice she's not moving around as much now. Don't worry! She is fine -- just running short on room. She still has plenty of growing to do though, believe it or not!
All five senses are working. Your little one is fascinated and practicing testing these out as much as possible!
Toenails are completely formed even though she may not be quite ready for a French manicure.
Hair on your infant's head continues to grow in. Will he have dad's black hair or your red hair?
Brain scans have shown that babies have periods of dream sleep (REM) starting around the eight month. What do you suppose your son is dreaming about?
