The week in review
Saturday is our Babies' Shower. Sunday is the Hospital tour & registration.
Next Wednesday is another Level II ultrasound & OB visit. Plan on getting a date set with Dr. Jacobs on my inducement.
Deal(s) on the Suburban have all fallenn through. We were supposed to pick up the 1st SUV this past Saturday~come to find out they SOLD it from under us. OK. Fine. Friday, we worked the dealerships and found another one, showed up Saturday to sign & drive away only to be scammed by the fucker who calls himself a salesman~we ended up leaving empty handed (*yes, he made a 7 1/2 month pregnant woman sit there while he pretended to do paperwork) only to find out they didn't even HAVE the black SUV on the lot and no expectation of having it there for us to buy and drive away with. He then tried to make us a deal on a Suburban that WAS on the lot. NO thank you, Asshole. Last deal was supposed to happen today, but what did the dealer do but add an "SS" feature to the SUV-basically supercharging it as if I needed it for the Indy 500-then sold it from under us too, figuring we wouldn't want it in "SS" edition. Ah, but they were right so why the fuck put it on there? So no Suburban even though we are motivated buyers... Shit, doesn't Chevrolet have 1 Black Suburban with grey leather interior to sell us somewhere in this place we call the USA?
29 weeks today, grumpy? grouchy? you bet your ass I am. I had to sleep sitting up Saturday night b/c the boys were kicking me so hard I was welling up in tears. I literally fell asleep sitting up against the headboard...Ahhh, for the love of these two boys.
Week Twenty-Nine
Your baby's head is in proportion with body now. He appears more like a newborn each and every day! Fat continues to accumulate under the skin -- only now preparing for entering the *real world*. Your baby's brain can control primitive breathing and body temperatures. His eyes can move in their sockets. Soon he will be able to follow a blinking light. Your baby is increasingly sensitive to changes in light, sound, taste, and smell! Various studies show that your baby may indicate preferences (or disdain) for particular tastes or odors at this stage
He is also moving from side to side, but probably still is head up. In the next few weeks, he will move to the head down birthing position. At times you may feel as if he is performing somersaults for a circus act! Her length is now approximately 15.2 inches (38.6cm) and weight is 2.54 pounds (1153gm) {pregnancy.org}
Me: Feeling like crap. 'Nuff said.
